White House Condemns 'Democratic Fabrication' as Further Epstein Estate Images Released

Democratic lawmakers have released a new tranche of what they labeled "troubling" images from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 images—some of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 released later on Friday account for a tiny fraction of the nearly 100,000 images released to the House investigative panel, which is probing the behavior and associations of Epstein.

The disgraced financier died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking offenses.

Prominent Personalities in the Photos

Featured among the prominent personalities visible in the first release are public figures including film director Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin conglomerate.

Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is photographed with six women, whose faces are redacted.

White House Statement

The White House addressed the release in a statement, accusing Democrats of selectively "hand-picking" the photographs for electoral motives and to "attempt to fabricate a false account."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been time and again refuted," a White House spokesperson said, maintaining that "the current government has achieved more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have at any point by frequently urging transparency, releasing thousands of pages of papers, and calling for additional probes into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Democratic Lawmaker Remarks

The images were published lacking captions, but per a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's associations with the rich and powerful.

"Now is the occasion to stop this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he said in a comment.

The disclosure of these materials coincides with the House panel continuing its investigation into the Epstein matter.
