The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline featuring celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in power within the city.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The third episode concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the initial group of heroes who will separate from the central cast to begin their separate journey, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a classically intense battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might appear unsuited, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

First, the team knows exactly where to head next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise started the story’s plot—used the foes for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then settled his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, above the city, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each character has a specific drive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the team access locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor vowed a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This results in them few options but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the combat party will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to round up the Seekers and Schemers groups.

Audiences can look forward to discovering which players will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, released on October 24.
