Performer Rejects Anti-Vaccine Position After Lending His Voice To Controversial Pandemic Documentary

The acclaimed actor has provided his voice to a feature-length documentary that questions the safety of vaccinations and lauds ex- government figure Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Film's Provocative Origins

Called "Plague of Corruption," the project is based on a well-known publication published by a controversial scientist, who became famous during the health crisis for allegations that Covid was caused by a bad strain of the flu vaccine.

The publication's collaborator, a producer, has previously authored books with controversial media personality the Infowars host. He took to social media hailing Neeson's role in the film.

An Unequivocal Rebuttal

A spokesperson for Neeson have issued a response firmly refuting claims that he holds anti-vaccine views.

"We all acknowledge that misconduct can exist within the pharmaceutical industry, but that should never be confused with being against vaccines," the comment explains. "Liam never has been, and remains not, anti-vax. His long work with the global charity underscores his long-held support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

The statement added that the star was not involved in crafting the documentary's editorial content and that concerns about its assertions are best addressed to the producers.

Central Claims In the Documentary

In the film, the narration provided by Neeson includes several controversial claims:

  • It suggests that pro-immunization voices have insisted on "unconditional submission" to public institutions.
  • It declares that "science has become deeply influenced by politics."
  • Kennedy is interviewed stating, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they simply are not adequately tested."
  • The film further attacks stay-at-home orders, saying they caused psychological harm that cost thousands of lives.
  • Regarding Covid vaccines, it references a view that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Previous Background and Ongoing Disputes

The documentary further cites a historical film about clinical trials on children, which was later the focus of a correction by the network for unbalanced reporting.

Recently, RFK Jr directed the national health agency to alter its long-held position that there is no causal relationship between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This supposed link is echoed in the documentary, despite a fresh analysis from the WHO confirming no such link has been found.

A Previous Statement of Endorsement

Contrasting the documentary's message, Neeson has formerly voiced strong support for vaccines in his position as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Previously, he described vaccines as "an extraordinary achievement," noting that "The discourse about vaccines in recent years has forgotten how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in history."

The documentary concludes with Neeson's script stating, "This marks not the conclusion of our journey. This is the beginning of a new chapter."
