The City of Angels experienced citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined local residents in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Turnout
Local events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the next championship we’re going to achieve this,” Shohei Ohtani remarked through an interpreter.
The parade route concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the players emerged to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard providing music and Ice Cube driving a light blue vintage Cadillac around the stadium’s outfield.

Festivities started prior to the parade, with Dodgers fans setting off fireworks in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The World Series MVP, named the MVP of the championship, spoke directly about the win.
“Losing is not an option,” he stated. “I love the Dodgers. I love Los Angeles.”
Varied Responses and City Unity
In contrast, the team owner received a cooler welcome at the rally. Recordings from the event appear to show Walter walking onstage to a mix of cheers and jeers, with negative shouts interrupting his speech.
